Are We Ever Going to Do Something to Stop This?
“Grief is the price we pay for love.” — Queen Elizabeth II
I was very emotional last night as I tucked my children in for the night.
I couldn’t help but think about the parents of all the children who died in yesterday’s tragedy. They wouldn’t be able to give their kids another goodnight kiss, thinking they wouldn’t be able to tuck them in at all.
If you’re as angry, upset, and heartbroken as I am about the school shooting that took place yesterday. You’re probably wondering what can be done to prevent something like this from happening again.
The massacre of children is something my mind and heart can’t comprehend.
To discover that the murderer was 18 years old and still a kid is difficult! It would not make anything better if he were an adult, but what are we doing as a society? What needs to take place in someone’s mind to want to do this?
There is unquestionably a mental health problem that demands attention.
